Warriors of Automacia
Peace has come to the land of Automacia: can they repurpose the tools of war to rebuild?
A Tic-80 game by Walter Lewis. Originally intended for the autumn lisp game jam 2024, but messed up submitting on time.

Unit descriptions:
- Fisher: gathers fish from adjacent water
- Miner: gathers ore from ore patches, or wood from trees
- Archer: moves items placed on or behind the archer to another unit up to 4 tiles away
- Warrior: moves items placed on the warrior to another unit or inserts it into a building up to 2 tiles away
Building descriptions:
- Alchemist: melts down ore into metal bars
- Woodworker: creates tools made primarily from wood
- Blacksmith: creates tools made primarily from metal, and copper coins
- House: creates population from fish
Gameplay notes and strategies:
- Place miners on trees and ore patches, and fishers next to water to start generating raw resources.
- Place archers next to the miners and fishers to pick up the items they gather.
- Warriors are used to place items into buildings.
- Buildings are used to produce different kinds of items. Finished goods go directly into your pool of resources. Intermediate goods appear on the building and can be picked up by archers.
- The alchemist turns ore into bars which need further processing.
- The woodworker and blacksmith turn wood and metal bars into resources needed to place more units.
- Houses turn food into more population.
- The UX for building recipes is wonky. When placing the building press Y (S on keyboard) to cycle through recipe outputs. After you place it you can see what the recipe costs by moving the cursor over the building.
Challenge: can you build four houses?
